Many options: As dr. Connolly said, you might get some bruising after laser treatment of facial spider veins but you can always put some make up over the bruising is needed. Downtime should be minimal although the bruising can last a couple of weeks. If you have questions, don't hesitate to get a second opinion.

V-Beam: There is usually no "down-time" with treating vessels on the face. There may be some redness and swelling that may last for a day or two. If the vessels are large sometimes it takes multiple treatments and there may be some bruising. It can be treated with topicals and laser to minimize but that could take a few days to a week to clear.
