Better lasers: Although ipl lasers can be used for some vascular purposes, particularly telangiectatic matting, there are more effective systems specifically for spider veins, especially when seen on the face. Diode lasers, yag lasers and thermocoagulation are the preferred systems to achieve adequate response and resolution of facial spider veins. See an experienced vein specialist to ensure appropriate care.
