Yes: Yes, the nail will grow up and should grow out normally and smoothly if the attachment to the skin is still normal. However, if there is scarring to the nail bed, this may cause changes and disruption to the nail as it grows out.

Yes: Both nail and flesh should grow back normally assuming there was no signicant damage. Hope this helps.
