I would recommend: A topical antibiotic and bandage. I think the epsom salt might burn as the wound is fresh...Wait a few days before considering the salt...If you want you can always try it and if no burning continue as the only danger would be it buring you the salt on the wound. Sometimes, these injuries get infected and if it does an oral antibiotic may be required so keep an eye on the wound for redness, etc...

Allow time: Recommend trimming any protruding left over nail spicules and if none are present and wound isn't activitely bleeding then soaking 1 liter h2o : 1 tbl epson salt ratio for 10 mins daily for 4 days, if painful to soak, discontinue and only apply triple antibiotic ointment with bandaid. Lastly, see a foot doctor for further treatment to help prevent sequelae. Hope this helps!
