The er told me hemorrhoids but needed a surgeon. i thought was abcess and turns out it was it just popped and has been draining pus for hrs. do i need to go back to er. have had a slight fever today.

Draining abscess: You should either go back to the er or see your personal doctor. He may want to give you antibiotics and monitor the progress of the drainage.

See surgeon: See a general surgeon, or a colorectal surgeon in the am. Call and tell them the details, and you should have no problem being seen asap.

Need to see a doctor: The abscess may be draining but may need to be opened further to allow for drainage. You also need antibiotics now. I would recommend seeing a surgeon immediately. If you can't get in to see one, then go to E.R.
