An option: Standard treatment in the usa is to start with anti-glaucoma medications to control the pressure and to use them as long as they are effective. Slt usually has the effect of one medication and might give the effect you have had. It tends to be somewhat limited in time but can be repeated. Discuss with your treating ophthalmologist to see what option is best for you.

Maybe: Your history indicated that you have had laser treatment already. So it depends on your results whether repeat laser ( slt) would be beneficial. Laser trabeculoplaaty can be as effective as a prostaglandin analogue like travatan. So it may lower your iop 30+ %. Duration of effect can diminish as much as 10% per year. It's best to talk to your eye md on retreatment slt to allow for a d/c medication.
