A member asked:

I had a quater skin infecction with puss and oil that looked like road rash and a week later one formed on my arm, could this be related to hiv?

HIV: This sounds like a case of cellulitis, possibly with staphylococci with recurrence. Whether it has anything whatever to do with HIV would only be significant if you have the disease, and have become profoundly immunosuppressed as a result of long-standing untreated disease. If you are concerned about possible exposure go and get tested. The 4th generation immunoassays are excellent.
