Treatment ASAP!: If you are pregnant and have a tooth abscess which is an infection, you have two lives to protect, you and your unborn child. You need to see a dentist asap who will consult with your obstetrician and together discuss what should be done. Not only can you have treatment, it is essential that you do and right away!

Yes: Pain produced prostaglandin, which is a labor inducer (cause smooth muscle contraction). I would localized infiltrated with nonepinephrine anesthetics (citanest plain) and then do the first stage of root canal, i.e. Remove the nerve, debridement thoroughly as if we are ready to fill, then put a cotton pellet into the tooth chamber then close the hole. Finish after baby delivery.
