Appendicitis: Is usually treated in us with appendix surgery to remove the infected structure. If her pain and history and exam and laboratory tests also correlate with the ct scan findings, then surgery is indicated.

Consult: Surgeon or GI specialist. It could be tumor of appendix instead of sub-acute appendicitis. I would follow their advice.
