Diagnosis/Neurology: Have your doctor refer you to a neurologist for a diagnostic workup of your facial spasms. I agree with your doctor that it would be unusual for a brain tumor to cause lip and cheek spasms on opposite sides of the face, but it appears you still need to find out what is causing these spasms.
