See a dentist: Does pain occur spontaneously or upon chewing? Is pain at night or when you wake up in the morning? Do you chew gum daily or pens/pencil tips? Any pain to hot or cold liquids/foods? I recommend seeing a dentist to get this evaluated: it could be teeth, gingiva or muscle/joint problem.

Intermittent jawpain: It could be coming from clecnching or girnding your teeth that so many people do when they sleep and have no idea they are doing it. See your dentist asap if the symptoms so move you you!
