About 2 years i have had palpitaions..always a short pause followed by a stronger thump and a lot of times with a burp..i have had an ekg, and an echo with doppler . all fine 2 yrs ago ..just stress?

Your physician knows: Fewer than five of these episodes in a minute is usually no cause for concern. It's more likely to be coffee than "stress" (whatever that is). If your physician isn't concerned, and you didn't have runs of odd beats, i wouldn't give it another thought.

Likely premature: Atrial or ventricular contractions which are generally benign ...Event or holter monitor can diagnose for sure.
