I have had palpitations/ectopics for a long time. 14 years roughly. i cope now. however, i've had them a lot daily for the last week/two. strong. scare me. dr's not found anything in past, with ecg's, echos, 24 hour tape. just pvc's. why worse now?

There is much that is unknown about why benign PVCs are more frequent some times more than other times. We always mention caffeine, alcohol,stress,low potassium or magnesium levels, but most of the time, in my experience, these aren't the reasons. Worsening of cardiac pathology apparently doesn't apply to you. Nevertheless, I'd still update your EKG,echocardiogram, Holter monitoring & ?stress test
