See your dentist: If you are having difficulty opening your mouth fully one month after surgery, you should return to your dentist or surgeon who performed your surgery for evaluation.

Very common: The most common complication after wisdom tooth extraction is limited range of motion. This can last several weeks. Three things will help loosen up the jaw muscles as quickly as possible are: moist heat, jaw stretching exercises, and OTC Aleve (naproxen).
