It is normal: The pain and discomfort that follows wisdom tooth extraction up to 3 weeks is just a normal part of the healing process. If you have any concerns about your healing call your surgeon for post-op appointment.

Normal: Tender is not unusual. Frank pain should be investigated. If you are uncomfortable call the Oral Surgeon that treated you to make sure everything is OK.
