When Needed: Your age is not the issue for using fertility drugs, rather your need. If you are infertile and do not ovulate then drugs are effective. Choice of drug depends on tests, safety & costs. Infertile but ovulating also use drugs to make multiple eggs come out - strategy to enhance fertility but first tests for other causes. We must be careful about multiple births. See specialist for details.

Varies: There is no specific age, it depends far more on the specific circumstances warranting fertility treatment. I'm sure individual physicians would have their own ideas about who (and when) is an appropriate candidate for infertility treatments. You will need to discuss this with your physician, and possibly with several physicians.
