Clomid (clomiphene): - Clomid (clomiphene) is a fertility med, specifically an ovualtioin induction agent - clomid, (clomiphene) if not covered by insurance, costs much, much less than the meds (gonadotropins) used for ivf - Clomid (clomiphene) may be prescribed by md, but whether insurance/prescription plan covers it depends on the individual prescription plan/program. Even if have to pay out-of-pocket, Clomid (clomiphene) is generally inexpensive.

Ovulation medication: Clomid (clomiphene) is an ovulation medication available by prescription. Most obgyns have experience managing patients with ovulation problems. This should be your next stop. They will confirm that your problem is a lack of ovulation. If so they will discuss Clomid (clomiphene) with you.
