I had ankle fusion 6 months ago and don't have full sensation in parts of the area. how long might it take to regain the feeling?

It can take: A year or longer to get full sensation back. It even possible for certain areas to remain numb and never get full sensation. I don't know what type of fusion you had but if you are concerened discuss it with your surgeon. Personally i wouldn't worry at 6 months.

Maybe never.: An ankle fusion is a pretty aggressive surgery, and many of the nerves in the area are either compressed or otherwise stressed out during the procedure. You'll likely never regain normal sensation over the healed incisions, and it may take up to a year to get sensation back in other parts of your foot.
