Ankle: The inside of your ankle is the medial malleolus or end of your tibia. On the back side of the bone are two tendons tibialis pos, flexor digitorum longus , posterior tibial artery and tibial nerve. Common area to get a mild tendonitits, swelling and subsequent pain. Rest, ice, NSAID. This should improve with relative rest.
