Evaluation First: Great question. First you should see an orthopedic surgeon to advise you on whether this is the sort of dislocation that can benefit from physical therapy. If so, then a physical therapy program to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles may help keep the ball centered in its socket and relieve the feeling of instability. Shoulder Strengthen: The first question is why you are dislocating. If it was after a traumatic event you may need to discuss with a ortho surgeon first to stabilize the shoulder. If atraumatic such as multidirectional instability should do scapular stabilization exercises. These are easily found on the internet. Also, rotator cuff exercises which can be found as part of the exercises called "thrower' 10" program.
