Common: It's common after hysterectomy to notice some weight gain. Immediately after surgery there's weight gain from water retention. In the weeks after surgery there may be some gain because you're not as active as you were prior to surgery. Be sure to talk with your doctor about when safe to resume an exercise program. Best of luck!
