Hashimoto's: Effectively low thyroid hormone production via Hashimoto's thyroiditis needs to be checked regularly for the degree of thyroid suppression present, to calculate the amount of replacement hormone to be taken. Weight loss is best attempted after adjusting the dose of thyroid hormone, and lowering carbohydrates, walking 45-60 minutes a day and lowering portions of food.
