I had a hysterectomy and i don't take hormones. will i gain weight after my gallbladder removal?

No: Removal of the gallbladder is not associated with weight gain. Some people have diarrhea temporarily, but this can be controlled with medication if its bad enough. Don't confuse this with dumping syndrome, which can be seen after removal of the stomach or gastric bypass. Hope this helps!

Not from the surgery: You will only gain weight if you eat more calories than you burn. The same rules will apply as before the surgery. Best of luck!
