A member asked:

I have cholestrol 7, dose it mean high?need to take medication?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Incomplete info: You did not provide units of measure, it is mg/dl or mmols/l? All lab results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the test is usually in the best position to do that. It is preferable to have the whole lipid profile rather than just cholesterol levels. It would be prudent to discuss it with your doctor.
