No: There is no study data to suggest that drinking alcohol exacerbates wet macular degeneration. When you visit an ophthalmologist you should expect a thorough eye examination. Have someone drive you to the exam as your eyes will be dilated making your blurry for a few hours.

No. A complete exam.: Alcohol will not, in and of itself, make wet macular degeneration worse. From both a medical and non - medical standpoint, the use of alcohol should not be abused. You should expect a "complete" eye examination when you see your eye specialist. This should include a dilated exam of both eyes. If this is not done, then you have not had a "complete" eye examination.

Unlikely: There is no known association between wet macular degeneration worsening and alcohol. Please remember that too much alcohol is of course not healthy in any way, so enjoy in moderation.
