I was diagnosed with diabetic macular degeneration. my ophthalmologist wants me to see a neuro-ophthalmologist to make sure. the neuro cannot see me until mid-november. is safe to wait on the macular degeneration treatment? will the macular get worse?

Too long to wait: That’s a bit too long to wait....a week or two I’d tolerate.....find another specialist who can see you sooner.
