A member asked:

A neuro ophthalmologist diagnosed me with myopic degeneration, deficiency of saccadic eye movements, irregular eye movements and sector or arcuate visual field defects due to high myopia. i've had symptoms for 8 years, what medical condition is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I don't think this would be part of a systemic medical disorder but is limited to a neuroopthalmologic condition. Otherwise the neuroopthalmologist would have referred you to other specialists for further evaluation & more testing.
