What is the usual and/or an accepted treatment of a ganglion on the dorsum of the foot?

Ganglion : These can be drained ( needle aspiration ) cortisone injection can be helpful as well as surgical removal. I would get a podiatrist to look at it and get a MRI before doing anything. Wear shoes that have laces.
