Low back pain: What you describe is consistent with degenerative disc disease. There are many cause as well as multiple treatment options. I usually recommend physical therapy with possible local ultrasound therapy to the lower back. In severe cases, you will physician may recommend steroid injections. I recommend following up with a back specialist.
