A member asked:

In the same spot that i had a frequent canker sore, a mucucole perhaps its formed.. can a mucocele "explode" that form itself again in the same spot?

Explode: Yes it can, as a mucocoele is a blocked salivary duct and if enough pressure builds in the duct or if you chew it it can blow open, become reclogged expand and blow open again repeating the cycle over and over.

Yes: It is really a salivary gland with an obstruction that blocks the end of the duct. It can fill with fluid , rupture, deflate and then refill after the rupture heals.
