Can a canker sore be on the lips? i noticed a small raw area on my lip, its not very raised, not a cluster and it doesnt hurt at all. i wouldnt have known it was there if i didnt lick my lips in that specific spot?

Canker sores can occur on the inside of the lips on your mucous membranes. On the outside of the lip could be a cold sore[herpetic lesion] or trauma from lip biting or sucking.
