Track the trend: A range of 150's is not too harmful in the short term. I think you can gather some more data to take to your doctor, try checking your blood sugar before each meal and at bedtime for a couple of days so you can see how it's doing overall. Infection and stress can also cause blood sugar to go up, so try to notice if anything else is different too.
