Stress & glucose: Blood glucose can increase in stress, especially in diabetics. If this has been going on for awhile, it's likely to be more related to Insulin resistance which can come with being overweight. I'm not sure if this describes you, but it's a common cause. Your doctor will probably want to follow your blood sugar and hemoglobin a1c over time, and make recommendations. Good luck with your surgery.
