Yes: Please dont ignore it. Yes, people can die from cervical cancer. It is one of the most common cause of death due to cancer in developing countries /third world countries- due to the lack of knowledge and access to get papsmear. See your oncologist.

YES: Why would you ignore it? The earlier the stage, the better the outcome. Also, don't confuse "dysplasia" or "carcinoma in situ (cis)" with cancer. These are both pre-cancerous lesions that are easily treated! please see a gyn physician asap.
