Cervical cancer: Cervical cancer is an abnormal growth of cells in the area of the cervix uteri, or uterine part of the cervix. It has a strong association with hpv infection. It can be screened by pap smears. It is treated either with surgery in the earliest stages, or with radiation therapy +/- chemotherapy for more advanced disease.
