How lethal is cervical cancer?

Depends: Early stage - very curable. My opinion: definitely need to vaccinate boys & girls vs hpv early. Stage 0 thru iii curable with surgery and/or radiation & chemo.

Cervical Cancer: Review literature: in the US over 12,000 new invasive cervical cancers and about 4000 cancer related death happened each year. With HPV vaccination this number expected to decrease more. In developing countries, especially in Africa the prevalence of invasive cervical and the death rate is much higher. In Africa it is still number one cause of cancer related death for women.
