No it will not affec: Older men with enlarged prostate may develop urinary retension problem with any surgery, at 22 you should not have any problems , just give few more days , you will be fine.

Urinary hesitancy : Most likely you're still experiencing the anticholinergic effects of the anesthetic, it should wear off in the next few days. The other possibility is that your bladder got over stretched from being over full while you were sedated, though this is more common in men. If it continues, have an ultrasound to check a post-void residual to exclude retention.
