Urine problem : If you had a Foley catheter placed during surgery it is possible that it caused a small bladder or urinary tract injury. That could easily explain your symptoms. You should follow up with your surgeon as soon as possible.

Could be UTI: Usually this surgery has nothing to do with your urinary tract. However, if you had a urine Catheter placed during the surgery you could possibly develop UTI and even at some blood in the urine due to the catheter(This happens rarely). More likely this could be s urinary sphincter spasm due to anesthesia, which should resolve 2 in to 3 days. Best option is to call your surgeon.
