A member asked:

Urine now whisky color(2wks). off&on back, upper abd & calf/leg pain, nausea. no gallbladder & drink 2l of fluids/day bc of low bp. pos causes please?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need medical care: The whiskey color could come from either blood or excessive bilirubin in the urine. If it's blood, then the most likely cause relates to the urinary tract. If it's bilirubin, then the discoloration most likely to the liver and/or bile ducts. Your symptoms really concern me. You need to see a doctor promptly about this. I wish you the best.
