Retainers required : Supervised retention following orthodontic treatment is almost always required and a part of your treatment plan. At least for a period of time following active treatment, this usually means you need to wear removable or bonded retainers while bone hardens around teeth in their new positions. Also, some slight shifting of teeth as time passes is to be expected as you use them.
