I have had my braces off for 6yrs now. i wear my metal retainers religiously & dont have permanent ones. i get sore spots on my bottom retainer and its loose on one side on the top and bottom should i go get them re adjusted after so long?

Braces: Yes. i would recommend follow up with orthodontist.

Adjustment: Retainers should not cause sore spots. Nor should they be loose. Please return to your treating specialist Orthodontist or treating General Dentist, the practitioner who is familiar with your original malocclusion, for adjustment or replacement. Expect a fee to be charged for the service.
