A member asked:

Can mono be dangerous for someone with kidney disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not especially: With chronic kidney disease a viral illness may be complicated by the need to modify dosage of medications, intolerance of the commonly recommended high fluid intake. High salt diet (chicken soup). Common sense and an awareness of your limitations should be all that is needed.
