Not usually: The usual symptoms of mono (infectious mononucleosis) include sore throat, fever, pharyngeal inflammation. A host of other manifestations are possible (hemolytic anemia, hepatitis) which may rarely affect the kidneys indirectly, but that would be a stretch!
