Your choice: In my practice i routinely see kids up until their graduation from high school. I also do their pre college or pre employment physical if they wish. Some kids go through interest changes in their teen years and want to move on to a doc their best friend uses, or someone their parents didn't pick. That's all part of growing up.You can ask the office staff how old the doc sees patients if you like.

Not too old!: It depends on how comfortable you are with your pediatrician. I will see my kids until they are around 22 if they want. If you have health concerns that are more adult in nature, you may be more comfortable with an adult doctor. But pediatrics is meant to encompass childhood and adolescence so, in my opinion, you are not too old!
