My daughter is 4yrs old. she's getting 10ml lacson daily and still having 2-3 accidents a day. she knows it's wrong. tried everything to encourage her. should i take her to see a pediatrician?

Lacson is causing ac: You are not fair to your daughter. Why is she on Lacson? An adult on Lacson may have an accident. She cannot help what is going on because the lacson is causing her bowel to move in a way she cannot control.

Hard to be specific: If this is for chronic stool retention/constipation her care needs to be supervised by someone with experience. These kids often have ballooned large intestines & have lost sensation at the anus that prevents leaks. A good plan of rehabilitation incorporated scheduled emptying & something like lacson. It can take a good plan & a year to fix. A pedi or pedi GI doc would help.
