What to do: First, not all spots are cavities. I often have patients come in thinking some stain or small spot is a cavity when in reality it's not. Start by having your own dentist evaluate what you see. There is no "auto repair" for decayed enamel. Some surface decalcifications can be remineralized or composite bonded so that they do not progress into deeper cavities. Discuss options with your own dentist.
