Tooth hurts after filing still. its been a month since i got a cavity filled. was just a small soft spot i wanted filled. now that very tooth is bothering me for an odd reason?

If you noticed "small soft spot” the cavity was probably much larger than you thought. Sensitivity may be from filling being high, a very easy adjustment will give instant relief. If the cavity badly damaged the tooth, or if there is a resultant fracture, more sophisticated treatment may be required, such as root canal. See your Dentist ASAP for resolution.
