See your dentist : Make an appointment with a pediatric dentist for an examination. The pits and spots may have been caused by a viral infection during the time the teeth were being formed. The important thing is to find if the first teeth and the all important second teeth appear to be developing normally.

Pits and fissures: Pits and fissures are the areas where the tooth buds coalesced to form the whole tooth. In some people the pits and grooves are deep, whereas in others they are not.

Sealants: Grooves and pits are areas where enamel did not fully seal when forming. Sealants to prevent break-down of these areas is recommended. You may want to consider seeing a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, for all the same reasons you see a pediatric medical specialist, a Pediatrician.
