Avoid food: That make your symptoms worse. Coffee, sodas, smoking, spicy foods, peppers, tomatoes, tea, greasy foods, fry foods, dairy products, etc. Avoid alcohol, smoking. Wait 3 hrs after eating before going to bed. Loose weight if overweight and avoid tight cloths. If no improvements you need medication and possibly endoscopy.
