Hi. : Hi. Here are possible ulcer symptoms. Ulcers in the stomach can feel worse about three hours after a meal and duodenal ulcers (a little further down than the stomach) can feel better about three hours after a meal. One might experience a drop in appetite with weight loss. There can be a sense of bloating as well as nausea. If the ulcer bleeds it could lead to vomiting up blood. Sometimes vomit can look like dark coffee grounds. Melena can also be caused by bleeding. This is black, tarry, malodorous stool. The only way to find out for sure what the cause of your stomach pain is, is to have it medically assessed. Take care.
